Only your deepest heart knows what your soul purpose is. It is connected with the Real You that you are and what you deeply desire to be. It is embedded in the place of pure joy within you. Its expression creates a sense of fulfillment and meaning in your life. In fact, your soul purpose is the reason for your being on Earth at this time.
Each of you is here to express your identity and to seek inner fulfilment. This is the reason your body takes birth on earth, in order to serve this identity. Everything about you, from your opinions to your mind, has taken birth in order to align with your identity. This includes your senses, your likes and dislikes.
So what is your soul purpose in this life?
I will give you a clue. It’s your true passion, the innermost desire of your heart, whether you are aware of it or not. Until the time you discover what that purpose is, you will experience an uneasy longing within, something you cannot seem to fill. You will fall in love with people, things and situations hoping that they will somehow satisfy you. But with this, you enter into a loop of pleasure and pain and eventually get tired or bored of it and drop it. After a while, the external world will seem meaningless.
Whatever your outer life may look like at this time, the purposes of the soul are deeply spiritual in nature. They have, as their aim, the deepening of awareness, of values, and most importantly, they are designed to bring you into greater wholeness within yourself.
Remember that your true purpose is what comes naturally to you, without any stress, or strain. Without worrying about time and without any need to prove anything to anyone, without the need for appreciation from others.
It isn’t your body, heart or stomach that is crying out, but it is your soul. It is the part of you that requires spiritual growth and refreshment. Whatever you wish to do in this life, you are expressing your divine nature through the fulfilment of this purpose. There comes a point when the singer becomes the singing and the player becomes the game and healer becomes the healing. In that moment, the soul’s yearning is satiated in blissful contentment. You being a Creator ultimately satisfies your yearning for purpose, worth and eternity.
