My take on the fast spreading Corona virus

Corona Virus has been spreading at an alarming phase and creating a state of panic across the globe. Constant efforts are being made to bring awareness about the ways to prevent the spread of this unrelenting outbreak. Scientists and medical experts are striving hard to find a cure. Before understanding the causes and possible cure, let us first understand more about Virus.

What is a virus?

Virus is microscopic parasite which can infect living organisms and cause diseases. Virus can replicate itself thousands of times inside the host’s (living organism) cell. Viruses consist of nucleic acid surrounded by a protein coat. Usually the nucleic acid is RNA and at times it is DNA.

How does a virus die?

Technically for a virus to die, it has to be alive in the first place. Virus does not carry a cell membrane or metabolise on its own like other living organism. So, virus cannot survive independently. They instead use the machinery of the host’s cell i.e. genetic instructions in form of DNA or related RNA molecule.

How does your body fight a virus?

The human body utilizes antibodies to battle illnesses. Antibodies are proteins that recognise invading viruses and bind to them. They then trigger a mechanism to allow the white blood cells to engulf and then destroy the viruses. So basically it has to be a natural immune system that has to awakened to fight it.

Thinking that you can curb and destroy the virus with a vaccine is a farfetched idea. Only way we can do so is by realising, why it appeared in the first place and that too in a country like China.

For this I would like to share some content from Google:

China’s coronavirus outbreak has tested the limits of free speech on the country’s heavily censored online and social media, with a brief window of liberalization that opened during January subsequently slammed shut by authorities. https://reut.rs/2SBlODq

“For thirty years the Chinese have been made to surrender their freedom in exchange for safety, and now they fall prey to public health crisis and are less safe than ever.” https://bit.ly/2Hjlm7v

For the average Chinese citizen freedom of publication is actually nothing more than the freedom to submit. https://bit.ly/2UKoiC8

According to the Amnesty International report from 2016/2017, the government continued to draft and enact a series of new national security laws that presented serious threats to the protection of human rights. The nationwide crackdown on human rights lawyers and activists continued throughout the year. Activists and human rights defenders continued to be systematically subjected to monitoring, harassment, intimidation, arrest and detention. Read more on https://bit.ly/2Siv94b

Human rights are curbed in China and they have been criticized for the same. Did you know that Facebook, Google, Youtube are banned in this country? The internet censorship in China is very extensive and an average citizen has limited freedom of expression. If you closely observe from the perspective of Chakras, the above issues and disease share a common thread.

Nature of this disease from lens of Chakras

The common signs of the Corona virus infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. In more severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome and even death.

Can we see that it majorly affects the Throat and Heart chakra? Both of these chakras are all about freedom of expression, trust and faith and freedom from fear. So considering the restriction on the freedom of expression and limited rights of a commoner in China, the Throat and Heart Chakra of common Chinese citizens would have got affected. And this would be the possible cause of the Virus being on rampage in the country.

My take on solving this crisis:

The Chinese people have to realise their freedom of free expression and stand up for it by breaking through the shackles that bind their true identity. They need to openly express themselves without fear. The Chinese are creative and hardworking no doubt. But is there joy of expression or fear of survival behind it? They need to be more open and trusting to the rest of the world. They need to know they have all the freedom to be who they are. The Chinese people have to stand up for their freedom of speech and expression without any fears. The Chinese Government should open up all restrictions that curb human expression and open the gates of China to embrace the rest of the world.
