Do you know that through our work, friends, hobbies, family and meditation we balance our life?
There are five major elements/tatvas out of which this universe is formed – Fire (Agni), Air (Vaayu), Earth (Prithvi), Water (Jal) & Sky (Aakash). Our routinely life is so much colligated with these five elements. We are so unconsciously & inadvertently living it. It’s not only the association of the five elements with our daily course of events but its impact that so strongly impinges onto the Chakras in our body.
The balance of these elements is imperative for our body as well our environment. If the elements go out of balance, negativity starts to reign which leads to stress and destruction.
Fire (Agni Tatva)
We energise our Fire element when we go for Work. Fire, the source of warmth and illumination resides in our Manipura Chakra (Navel). It denotes Knowledge, Action, and Power & Money and comes in full force when we perform our work with full dedication. When this Chakra gets active as we perform the tasks, we are more energized to go ahead & maintain a balance on other areas too.
Air (Vaayu Tatva)
After the work as we meet our friends or relax to end up a full long day at a good note. We just chill out and there comes the Air element that resides in our Heart. When we do a lot of random tasks like listen to good music, play games, have food, exchange emotions like happiness, sorrow, anger, or may be discuss about the day spent with our loved ones. It’s the time when Anahata Chakra gets active & helps one with happiness.
Earth (Prithvi Tatva)
Coming to the Muladhara Chakra where the Earth element resides is colligated as we reach home tired. Our shelter is the place that comes to our mind naturally; there we get aware of the solidity & the form. Muladhara Chakra operates through our whole body and makes our body active as we rest, eat food, bond with family & set up our body again to face challenges ahead.
Water (Jal Tatva)
When you move your attention a little upwards, the energy related to fluidity gets active & the Swadhisthana Chakra being the creative Centre awakens us. Well quoted- “All work & no play, makes jack a dull boy”. For a fulfilled life one needs to energize during weekends or may be during the time that is free from duties or responsibilities and spend time for hobbies and other activities that you enjoy. Because Balance is the key!
Sky (Aakash Tatva)
How can we miss the connection with our own selves, with our divine self? Connection with self is most important to lead a happy, positive & peaceful life. Here comes the fifth and highest element resides in the Crown Chakra which is believed to be the substance compiling all the heavenly bodies. Here when we look at the open sky & we canvas our free self through the means of meditation, prayers, by visiting temples we connect ourself with divinity.
Balancing all these elements in our daily routine is a must for a healthy and fulfilled life.
