The spiritual lessons from this Chakra is to learn how to emotionally surf through the different scenes of the movie of life and play the multiple characters assigned to us thorough it. The sacral chakra is the seat of creativity and holds the energy of transactions we make with others whether financial or social, hence it’s crucial in how we manage money and engage in relationships with others. Furthermore, this is our emotional hub and when it is out of balance, you may have problems moving forward in life due to fears to surrender our beliefs in right or wrong and making judgments about.

A blocked sacral chakra can cause you to feel disconnected from your own emotions as well as those of  others around you. You might feel isolated and frightened of being alone and lonely. It’s a vicious cycle that prevents you from moving with the tides of life and keeps you stuck without the ability to emotionally integrate experiences and progress through life’s stages. It interferes with the normal emotional maturation that should occur during childhood, by keeping you emotionally unstable. This is why many adults with a blocked Swadhisthana carry many traumas and emotionally painful memories from their childhood. As a result of this blockage, constant and recurring money and relationship problems arise, which eventually manifest physically as lower back problems. As it governs your ability to relate to others and the world around you, the sacral chakra also helps you maintain a balanced emotional state and life-management skills. When sacral energy flow is obstructed, you may experience a lack of emotion, insecurity, uncertainty and an inability to deal with life’s changes.
The Swadhisthana Chakra allows us to shape our desires. As the center of creativity, awakens the energy of both creation and manifestation. This enables an individual to discover the freedom of choice and form intimate relationships. This energy center when in balance fosters pleasure, promotes emotional well-being and it plays an active role in the expression of our sexuality and emotional needs and desires. Hence, a person with a balanced sacral chakra have the ability to allow pleasure into their lives; they are usually very creative and expressive. This balance is often found in people who have a high level of integrity, are very ethical and honour relationships; they also are very much attuned to their own feelings and have a sympathetic and trusting nature. You will experience a healthy balance of being present when you stop chasing pleasure and denying pain. You’ll learn to appreciate what you have rather than seeking instant gratification. Instead of being afraid of adversity, you will be able to learn from it and then let it go. It allows you to do things without becoming emotionally invested in the outcome. Then you’ll be able to feel at ease in any situation and go with the flow, resulting in a healthier sacral chakra. The Swadhisthana chakra is concerned with personal identity and how it reacts to the alluring forces of the physical world. As a result of its balanced emotional self-regulation and integrated self-esteem, a balanced sacral chakra encourages the capacity to take risks and experience positivity and joy. A balanced sacral chakra teaches us that every connection we have, from the most casual to the most personal, has a purpose, regardless of how painful, to help us become more self-aware and conscious of our karma. It inspires us to interact with others in a fun and friendly manner. We can sail our relationships using the energy of the sacral chakra. Both eroticism and love begin to flow from this energy center.
Overactivity in the Sacral (Swadhisthana) Chakra can lead to becoming emotionally imbalanced with the tendency to fantasize. There will be many issues around channelizing money and opportunities that give more money, such as money spending, and also sexual issues, even issues related to power and control such as manipulative behaviour. There is a sensation of being over flooded of emotions that escape to our control which also may turn into dread and incomprehensible fears from unknown origin that seem to come and run without our intention and what is worst, you may well feel unable to do something to bring these to clarity but rather they become overwhelming for you. An overactive Sacral chakra may well also cause strong waves of erratic emotions and a lack of attention deriving in lack of productivity and focus. Disorganized emotions come and go as time passes by, without can constrain and explain what we are feeling about in an accurate way.
A blocked or underactive Sacral (Swadhisthana) Chakra will lead to emotional instability but this is mainly focusing on the over-sensitive, insecure type of emotions. A person who has a blocked Sacral (Swadhisthana) Chakra is usually very hard on themselves, feeling guilty and blame for no reason, which can lead to feelings of isolation and withdrawal from life. With your energetic emotional hub inactivated or suppressed, or not activated enough, you feel detached from your own feelings as well as detached from the feelings of others around you. Wrong relationships of all kinds including jobs are taken up, leading to income issues and loss of real opportunities as they come but they always seem to slip by. This energy center craves for happy relationships and joy around, but when repressed you can feel the pain of not being able to relate to yourself and others as you wish.
When blocked it could lead to low back pain, female problems, pelvic pain, urinary problems, emotional issues including a tendency to blaming others, lack of extra money, sexual problems, kidney weakness, constipation, muscle cramps, lack of energy, repression and inhibition, loss of weight, imbalances in the endocrine system, muscle tension, poor vitamin C absorption and depression. Social withdrawal. Our reproductive organs, ovaries, womb and genitals, as well as our kidneys, bladder, and circulatory system are affected. One may experience sexual impotency, pregnancy and child birth issues, or menstrual difficulties, uterine, kidney, and spleen or bladder problem
