Voice of Third Eye (Ajna) Chakra: “You are Intuitive and Wise”. You make sound decisions with your Higher Intelligence”.

Introduction: Third Eye Chakra’s original or Sanskrit name is Ajna. The meaning of Ajna is ‘perception’, and also ‘become aware of’ and ‘control’. The Third Eye (Ajna) Chakra is depicted as a two leafed lotus flower. The two leaves are placed next to the heart of the flower, like wings. In the heart of the flower an inverted triangle can be found and a crescent moon placed over it. The Third Eye (Ajna) Chakra is situated in the middle of the forehead, right over the bridge of the nose, between the physical eyes.

It is also recognized as the divya chakshu or the divine eye, also as the eye of knowledge since it is the channel through which a spiritual aspirant receives revelations and insight of the higher world of consciousness. Our two eyes view the actual world, but our sixth chakra sees beyond that.

Description: The Third Eye (Ajna) Chakra is associated with one’s psychic ability, clairvoyance, the power of thought, imagination, seeing on all levels and intuition. The function of Third Eye (Ajna) Chakra is aptly described by its Sanskrit name Ajna, meaning perception, awareness, control which in essence means ‘command’. It is from this level, when we reach it, we can control or command the whole personality or lower self. This is the seat of mind and at this level we experience mentation; which is a flow of mental images and abstract ideas continually coming and going in the mind.

When the sixth chakra is blocked, you lose touch with your inner wisdom. You could be feeling disoriented or adrift. Most likely, the imbalance will manifest physically in the brain and eyes. You might also feel stuck in your daily routine. If you are not guided by your inner knowledge, you may be unable to see beyond current concerns and your own ideas. When you are out of balance, it is possible that you will have difficulty seeing the big picture. You could be suffering from mental fog, anxiety, or depression. Rarely feeling creative or inspired; lack of focus. Being overly logical or emotional. Habitually daydreaming or getting lost in thoughts. Superficial interactions with others; mistrust or dislike people easily. Excessively arrogant or opinionated; egotistical. Suffering from frequent headaches or migraines. Chronic vision or sinus problems. Lacking focus or decisiveness. Also Read: Diseases of Ajna Chakra
When this chakra is healthy you will experience a sharp mind. Your decisions are clear and decisive. You can see things for what they are while removing judgments about people and situations that cloud your decision-making ability. Your ability to concentrate enables you to complete a large amount of work in a short period of time. You don’t have a lot of mental chatter, and fear-based thoughts and worries don’t cloud your intuition or perceptions. You have a good memory and the ability to visualize things. Not only can you visualize, but you can also manifest what you see through your work, whether it is in art, writing, or the law of attraction. When we are healthy, it allows us to see clearly, allowing us to “see the big picture.” Your Third Eye chakra will be awakened as a consequence of an active pineal gland, which will aid the whole chakra system balance. When you are energetic and in sync with the cosmos, you attract events, people, circumstances, and so on. You can help generate so much more beauty into your life by embracing the power of positive intention, appreciation, and love. We have limitless potential and are individually lords of our own world.
An overactive Third Eye (Ajna) Chakra will result in an overactive imagination that is unanchored in reality. It can also cause memory blockage, a rigid, fixed mind attitude, and the inability to fully experience and integrate events, which will later haunt them in dreams, nightmares, or obsessive fantasies. They are frequently easily distracted and controlled by fears and anxieties. When Ajna chakra is over stimulated there is a lack of light to see everything that is going on in your mind. Feelings and emotions uncontrollable emerge from nowhere garbling your ability to see clearly. As there are too many impressions spinning around focus cannot be kept in all of these at the same time and inability to concentrate.
A deficient Third Eye (Ajna) Chakra will make it difficult to visualize and imagine things, also difficult to remember dreams, with generally poor memory. The sixth chakra may have been shut down to protect you from memories you don’t want to see. Generally there is poor intuition which is compensated by rational thought processes, being stuck in a world of black and white consciousness and living in denial, sometimes even insensitive towards others. When Ajna chakra is underactive we cannot perceive subtle qualities of the reality going beyond the physical senses into the realm of subtle energies. For these to be seen this energy center need to be tuned up and spinning in a balanced way. Consequently, we lose access to subtle dimensions and how the different and various realities move inside and outside us.
When the sixth chakra is blocked, a physical imbalance may manifest in the brain, eyes, pineal gland, and pituitary gland. It can manifest as headaches, vertigo, poor vision, seizures, and inability to focus. This also includes brain disorders like trouble processing information, memory problems, and anxiety. Due to how we use it to perceive information, hearing issues can also be associated with this chakra. sleeplessness and learning disabilities.
Acceptance is the key to bring to balance Ajna chakra. It helps to stay away from negative emotions and allows the spirit (inner guru) to guide you through intuition so that you are able to see the situation under the right light, form the correct perspective and find the right solution. This acceptance is about trusting yourself to rise to any occasions/opportunities that present itself to you. It is about being open to all of life, knowing that whatever is happening is for your ultimate good. It is about knowing that life throws challenges to evolve you to your highest perfection. Progressive exposure to natural light aids in the dissolution of dualities and the recognition of reality for what it is. It regulates and balances Ajna chakra as well as the normal production of serotonin and melatonin hormones by the body by waking up early in the morning and going to sleep after sunset, while exposing our faces to sunlight during the day. Before winding down to bed, it is recommended to practice Star gazing too. Specific Rudraksha and gemstones when worn as per RRST give the required frequency and color to the Ajna chakra to balance it.
